GSP/Weimies/Vizslas are all very high energy dogs. That means improper training can cause a lot of problems. But even with proper training, they're still high energy. lol They need to be able to run around, and burn off that energy, its part of their personality, and personally I enjoy that about them. If you don't want a high energy dog that AGGRESSIVELY loves and cuddles you (Vizslas are known as the Velcro dogs for good reason), these are not the dogs for you...

I would call my setters high energy, but I would not use that term for the GSP I've been around. Bat shit crazy would be more accurate. However to be honest I have not seen one in competent hands, and I am sure that's a huge part of the problem.

Sounds like they just needed a different training plan. Mine are (relatively) calm as long as they have enough exercise.

Not an entry because it was from a few months ago but I don't think I'd be crazy enough to burn my landscaping plants like my neighbor was.

Draco, my Wirehair Pointer is also a super good boi and superb hunting dog. He gives the quail family in my back yard a hard time.

He's also a MTB trail dog shredder!

Nice shot. Looks like a promo for a barbeque joint. It obviously works because now I'm hungry for ribs.

    Thank you.

Fortunately, for me anyways, it's just from a dinner I made the other day.
