Thanks! I almost always take some pictures when I say I am going to post but sometimes I just don't like what I got and choose not to post/upload them. Other times I just forget until Monday morning :anonymous:. I wish I could participate more but some challenges require a bit of searching I just don't have time for.

A little critique...just based on what catches my eye.

@picturethis Impressive scene! Love mountains like that, and lucky you for getting the elk in the foreground all in good view! I think a little more contrast or a little darker darks would've made things stand out a bit better in black and white, but nice composition.

@waviking28 Those are some insane colors! A higher quality camera would've made for a much more impressive photograph, but the scene itself must've been intense!

@JoeTacoma02 Nice shot through the trees! Always a challenge when there are all the branches in the way. I like the doe looking right at you, but it's still missing that pop that makes it stand out. Maybe a bit of white balance and contrast or clarity adjustment?

@TinyTech626 Nice sunset! I like the split in the sky that leads down to your headlight. The headlight itself is a little overwhelming, though.

@BabyTaco Awesome focus and clarity! It might be framed a little better shifted to the left so that your pup's eye is a little off-center to balance the amount of out-of-focus subject, but I'd have to play around with it to be sure. Other than that I love the warmth in the colors, the pop of the hair around his eye, and the fact that he's looking off in the distance.

@DougDeBonet Very impressive water motion! I'm amazed that the rest of it is so clear for it being a 250second exposure! It feels like it could be tilted a little counter-clockwise to level it out, but a very stunning job!

@WestCoastCole Nice shot for a quick snap! I like the clear reflection in the windows of the building.

@ckeene9 I really like this shot. The focus and pose of your dog is awesome and I like the framing around the pile of firewood with the background out of focus. A pan down and to the right might focus it a bit more on your dog but that might not be what you're going for.

@cosmicfires That's some crazy sand! Really trippy to scroll up and down over :p. It could use a little more contrast or a little darker sky, but the composition is awesome!

@Nightstr  Daaamn super buff! She's a little dark, and I don't know if that's just because of her tan or a byproduct of trying to blacken the background. If it's the latter, I think I'd rather see a little lighter background if it brightens her up. Excellent framing, though! I sometimes struggle with framing people.

Oh man, tough decision... Winner is @DougDeBonet! Amazing photo!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I tried tweeking the WB toward the cooler side but couldn't really find anything that works. Was playing with the green color setting as well to try and bring some colors but and that's the best I could have done without overcooking the color.

    Congrats DougDeBonet on the win!

Wow I didn't expect that! Thanks a bunch guys! That's like my first one in close to a year I think too lol. There was no wind where I was that's why everything is so still besides the water, and my tripod has a level and I got it as level as possible lol. That's actually the natural "non-levelness" of the terrain so I left it :)

I have to think of a challenge now, HMMMMMMM.

@92shawman thanks for the feed back, much appreciated.

Yeah, this was my favorite angle to get pics of the competitors. The way the light hit would lighten the subject up just enough and darken the back black curtains. I had my ISO set to 100 because I was trying to get the sharpest pic possible but I do agree, it could have been a bit brighter.

    Again thanks for the feedback.
