Weekly Photography Challenge Thread

Challenge is "something tiny" as I recall.

 

I have yet to see one photo submitted for this challenge,

 

Mostly they come out in the last day or two. Not at all unusual that you haven't seen one for this weeks challenge.

 

I just spent half an hour taking pictures of frost on my truck, but not Sunday yet

Can almost feel my fingers again, had to quit when the Battery Depleted came up. And now the sun is coming out and changing everything. Once I warm up might have to try this again, was surprised to see just how diverse and interesting frost can be up close. No dandelions in bloom around to shoot right now. But I do have a mum in flower sitting on the deck that is frozen solid. Hmmm....

Think I've learned more about photography on this thread than any other thread, site, or book. Not only from doing the challenges but from the help others give and ideas. I look at this thread like shooting sporting clays. SC shooters are usually more than willing to help each other out with lead, shooting method, chokes, etc. Trap shooters on the other hand are uptight as hell and don't want you to disrupt the rhythm of the squad and expect you to be a robot. I like Sporting Clays a lot more.

You and I should head down to the Chief's Mess and grab a cup of coffee. Have to admit there are times I miss that.

 

We are looking for small things it takes time.

I think I'm going to do the same thing? The price on 5D4's will have dropped significantly by then, especially a good second hand one.

It was Christmas weekend after all... I'll be back home Wednesday so I should be in this week!

 

Same here. That's probably why we all forgot.

 

I didn't forget Know that I can do better with what I learned from the time I spent doing it, have my heart set on frost now LOL. Weather didn't help this week and didn't get a second chance. From the forecast shouldn't be a problem this week and get something decent.

I don't expect the mk4 to drop from $3500 any time soon. Not until the end of the year when the rumored 6Dmk1 is released.

So are we all saying to extend this challenge until next Sunday's deadline?

 

Dang, i should've put up the crappy picture i had and could've taken the trophy by default haha.

 

That is how it normally works, and any pictures taken last week can be rolled into it. But because of you I know am looking to keep ISO as low as I can ....

 

The new market will drop some by spring. The used market will be pretty good by then. I already see a few selling for 3K

 

I will keep looking for something small.
