I stayed there 2 years ago. Loved it, awesome city. We went out to The Valley of Fire Park too whole we were there. Great place to shoot a lot of stuff.

Only explored the strip this time, but it is a neat city. I generally don't like people, so it's saying a lot that I'd be up to come back.

I usually went out about 2 a.m. to take photo's on the strip. I loved how the city was still kicking at that time. It was so weird that it was so hot but you didn't sweat to death like you do here. Haha

The weather was beautiful! My phone on the wide screen setting often overexposed the lights on the strip which kinda sucked, lots to photograph though!

Wish I was staying in the penthouse we were at to see the sunrise... Would've been damn epic.

Well it's the Canon 50mm 1.8 so it's the cheapest 50. It's been good for a while but it started crapping out a couple months ago. AF wasn't really working.(need to get it calibrated) but I just got it back yesterday from getting cleaned and it doesn't work at all. The Manual focus doesn't even work. So not sure if the people messed it up or not, because it was already starting to break.

The fall colors have evaded me although I've been searching. Hopefully i don't have to resort to a Vegas picture.

Does white count as a fall color?

Got back last night from spending a week hunting grouse on the North Shore of Lake Superior. When I started the leaves were 50-75% gone. Went through my pictures and by the time the challenge was posted most all the reds were gone. Which was OK I was there to hunt, when I return in a week hopefully all of the damn leaves will be gone LOL, makes bird hunting easier. Well in theory...

About all I have after the challenge was issued is the Temperance River from a Superior National Forrest road above it. This is down by the Lake in the Sawtooth Range where the leaves delay dropping due to the Lake temps. Could have used more sun but take what mother nature gives you. With Pentax FA 43 Limited.

Yeah the plentiful fall colors area i was talking about was south of Snoqualmie Pass to 410 and around Rainier... Leaves changing all over!

This is all I got. Didn't make it out this weekend. So I drove around this afternoon and found these in a parking lot. Wish I could have made it up to the mountains.

Quick phone snap of the fall colors near the Dolores river taken from the Rimrocker trail on my way to Moab for rock therapy. Most of the leaves have already fallen in this area.
