Those cats all look super pissed. I saw one once.... about 80 yards away in the back yard of my parents house and that was still too close.

Im sure you’ve walked by more than you want to know about if you spend much time out and about.

Not much to worry about unless they’re hungry.

I would have liked to have shot star trails but the full moon messed it up. Then I had some minor surgery on my leg. When you win again pick long exposure again. :) There is a water wheel I know of that would be cool to shoot as well.

I’m sure you’re right. According to NY State DEP “there aren’t any mountain Lions in the area”. Hard for me to believe when I’ve seen them. Supposedly they were introduced to curb coyote population but who knows.

And carnies. You never know when they will pop up from behind a tree wanting to sell you cotton candy

And it looks like he's annoyed about it. Cat's are great at giving "the look."

You are very right. Only thing he likes is his brother. Not mean by any means but doesn’t need affection. Anytime a phone/camera is around he’s gone lol.

I had a cat years ago that would solicit affection just to attack and scratch you to the bone. His name was Bo. He was a complete jerk but he was fantastic at keeping chipmunks and moles out of the yard.

I will not put a dog on the ground without one. Especially now that we have more wolves than all the Western States, combined. Always have in my lifetime although we were down to ~1,000 in the 70's. Seconds matter. Thinking with that many dogs a Fenix is out of the question. But for a couple of dogs the Fenix works well instead of breaking out the handheld and carrying a shotgun at the same time. Of course I still carry the Alpha. Either way a GPS collar is worth every penny IMO!
