Ive searched and couldnt find a thread on this. But I would like know the weight of some specific tires. Right now I have BFG A/T's in 285/75/16. And was wondering there weight vs. the Dynapro M/T in the same size? Im ganna be switching to these when my tires wear out, and was wondering If Im ganna loose noticeable hp and mpg's bc they will be heavier?

If someone knows the weight of these tires please post! thanks...

I think my BFG's are a D load, and the Dynapro's are a E I believe. But will I loose hp and mpg's with these tires? Atleast enough to matter? Im not concerned with a liitle loss, but not like 2-3mpgs! that would be not cool!!:)

LT265/70/17 BFG A/T's, Disabled Seat Belt Buzzer, Black and Gray Covercraft Seat Covers front and rear, Matching SnugTop Supersport Canopy, undercoat, bed mat, window vent shades. Black Weathertech Liners. Trans TSB, Rear Spring TSB Installed.

The TireRack lists the specs on the tires. Funny thing I noticed about the BFG's. Load Range E comes in at 57 lbs and load range D comes in at 59 lbs.

I looked in numerous locations for the Dynapro M/T, weight is 59.2 lbs

Awsome! thanks a bunch! exactly what I needed... So there really isnt a big difference. I geuss it just depends on size. So I think I will just stick with a 285/75, I was thinking about going bigger, but dont think so. Thanks again!

stock rugged trails come in at 37lbs! so there's a big difference in weight between stock and the ones your currently running.

i like them but just cant take that kind of hit in the fuel economy dept.! i'll have to stick with a lighter all terrain.
