Weird acceleration noise after going off road

I took my 2020 TRD off road Tacoma off road a few days ago and ever since I have noticed it making a whistling noise when accelerating and also happens when I shift to reverse and back to drive.
I hit a a few rocks on my off roading trip and even have a boulder dent up the skid plate .
It lags a bit during acceleration and it seems as though it’s stressing itself out when accelerating too fast.
Currently no check engine light is on so I don’t have much to work with.
Does anyone have tips or tricks you can share to help me figure this out.

 

Did you check your air filter?

 

I bent the stock skid plate offroading and it would clang against the lower control arm adjustment area. Just unbend it with your hands. its that flimsy

 

Yeah the stock skid plate is thin, maybe try and bend it back into place and then see if that helps. it is worth a try
