WEIRD BANGING I CANNOT FIGURE OUT

might be the steering column, the stabilizing ring can come loose and it can knock around a bit. open up behind your gas/brake pedal and check it out, I fixed mine by stuffing some tiny zip ties in the gap so it doesn't move around

 

Look at these:
Rear springs upper bushing especially if aftermarket - mine self destructed and clunked and you can see if they are not intact.
Cat converter shield under the drivers seat the 2 bolts and the band get corroded and or drop off - simply replace

 

All of these are solid. I will check them out tonight and see what i find and keep you guys in the loop. Thank you!

My cab mount (relocation) top bushings are gone. And my sliders look exactly like this picture. The cab is sitting on the bars that connect the slider to the frame and I hear a super loud bang on every bump.

 

My cab bushings are still in good shape but on certain bumps I can still get my cab to move enough to where my pinch weld right behind the front right fender will tap my RH side slider enough to make an annoying knocking noise... took me forever to find this one. Verified it by shoving a piece of inner tube in-between and hit the bumpy roads and no noise... gotta love tracking down noises.

 

Working on the truck tommorow and can’t wait to check this. I’m hoping this solves the problem because I’m loosing my mind

Yep. One or more loose bed bolts is probably the problem.

 

So i just got under and looked.

I’m guessing it’s the front cab mounts. You can tell right where the slider comes out under the cab that it has be t a bit from the cab hitting the slider.

it must be a bad cab mount.
I know the sliders could flex while wheeling but i don’t think that’s the case which leads me to believe its the cab mounts.

now, do they just need to be tightened? Or do i completly replace all of them?

 

If it's the cab mount bushings, tightening them won't fix it. Energy Suspension makes a poly body mount bushing kit, p/n #8.4109, that should take care of it.

Well it’s been awhile, but ordered the new mounts, bought a Proeagle and got everything installed. I couldn’t be happier that the annoying noise is gone!
