Weird bouncing when sitting still

I have an 07 prerunner that will bounce when idling sometimes. I'm holding it still with the brakes so it's just bouncing. I Shifted it from drive to every other gear and it still did it in every gear. It's not everytime I come to a stop either it's very random. Any ideas? It being in park or neutral but still doing it is weird to me. Could it be a broken motor mount? It's almost a surging type bounce.

 

How long has it been since the plugs were changed?
Is the AC on when it does it?
How many times does it bounce, and for how long?

 

Tell us about your girl. Is she in the passenger seat when this happens or are you alone?

 

It's been 2 months since I changed the plugs. A/C can be off or on and it'll happen. Once it's started it doesn't stop until I start driving again. I can drive for weeks and it not happen at all, then out of nowhere it happens and will go away by the next red-light. It's just so strange, I put fuel injector cleaner in and it didn't seem to change anything so I'm lost.

 

I need a better explanation as to what you're asking. Is she fat? No. Are we doing stuff? Maybe

Clean the throttle body

 

Mine will begin to idle rough with a slight bounce. After running with a can of jectron it smooths out every time. Not all in tank cleaners are good. Redline is also good, Techron is ok but jectron is the best I’ve found.

I’d also try this.

Might as well do the maf sensor cleaning at the same time.

If you have an obd tool check for errors. Hit the erase error codes see if that helps.
