Can anybody tell what exactly may be causing this noise? Occurs when sometimes when I’m just pressing the brake paddle but otherwise mostly when I’m shifting between R and D. One thing for sure, it’s coming from the rear drums.

Ps, pls ignore my chicken legs :p

My Jeep always made that groaning noise as my brakes aged. Albeit those were 4 wheel disks.

I've noticed that other vehicles do it as well. I always attributed it to slight jumping of the pad surface on the rotor at low speeds.

This is impossible to diagnose from a video. You need a second person under the vehicle.

The service and cleaning guy checked and said the drums are perfect, the mechanic says he thinks one of the pins in the rear brakes may be damaged. Gonna go and get it fixed on Monday

Lots of slop somewhere in the driveline. That isn't brakes.

90%+ grinding noise in the brakes, usually worn out pads, discs, or something broke inside. I am not a brake guy. But I have replace replaced rotors, disc brakes, drum brakes, pads, and brake cylinders, a long time ago.

    Update: fixed.
The mechanic told me it was because of my visibly drooping rear leaf springs. Added an addition leaf as a temporary fix but I’m glad that’s it’s quiet and smooth as butter now plus it still drives the same and is barely higher than before in the back.
