I’m seriously sensitive to chemical/fragrance smells.
I run an air purifier (it has some ozone/sanitizer aspect to it) a few times a week — kids and animals in the rear seat can get funky!
    No synthetic fresheners needed.
And it took away the new truck smell in two days, which was an added bonus for us.

Yep, you just need to hold it. If you love your truck think of driving it like making love to it. You don't fart then, right?

Let me put it this way. I took hours of hot steam deep cleaning of seat cushions to get rid of the bad smell in my truck. That was after I stopped commuting my teenage to school. Before the clean up it was like every time I opened the door on the hot parking lot, it was like hitting a wall.

Dryer sheets work great, just stash it in the little pocket on the back of the seat or under the seat.

My wife uses the little Gain scented vent clips and it's like walking into the Yankee Candle store the day before Mother's Day, gotta open the door and let it air out before I get in!

I buy the tree, cut a small slice into the package, and throw it into the door pocket. Very mild but long lasting scent

IKR and the "new car smell" trees don't even smell like new car, they just have a unique clean scent.

I also plug this thing in once in awhile and it does a good job of cleaning up the air and smells. I don't run it all the time because the blue light is bright AF and annoys my wife.

But do they work by themselves in the vents without any mods?
