Weird Cam Question (5vzfe)

I am doing headgaskets on a new to me truck with a1997 5vz, and I discovered that my intake cam on the passenger side does not have any "two dot" positions...I am wondering if this is maybe a replacement cam or was taken from a different generation? I think it will be fine as long as the cams are matched up correctly (it ran fine with the cam before), just interested in whats going on with this cam, or if maybe I am missing something...
