I kinda have a problem like that I can't quite figure out...

Does it only make the sound when your in reverse or drive? Mines sounds more like thumping...but thumps faster as you acclerate and seems to get louder if you turn the fan on.

Sorry for the thread jack but this has been bugging me for a while now.

    SAS.. Need I say more.
Sounds like u-joints.. Hence why they wouldnot make sounds in stop mode. Transmissions really don't make clicking sounds...Except the solenoids on them click. Normal. You are hearing something else.

No not u-joints...it makes the sounds in only drive or reverse weather your at a full stop or not...it goes with the engine rpm...the faster you rev the faster it thumps...
