Could it be a honey/ butter blend? Plenty of apiaries in that area.

nothing solid for the words stuff that everyone pointed out.
also seeing "...BUTED BY" distributed by and "CARPE...." maybe Carpenter?
doing a google lens search for teh jar i got this but no name for where they came from. maybe it was a mass produced jar that was used by several companies?

that's got to be it then! total shot in the dark on my end. Carpenter was the only name I could think of but if it does have a local history then that's got to be it!
who doesn't like finding cool junk in the woods? :notsure:

Saw this truck today below the road to Frenchman Coulee in Eastern Washington. There were also some other cars and car parts on the way to the waterfall.

It’s kinda ironic talking about stuff/garbage found in the woods. I’m helping with TU today for Adopt a Highway cleanup, probably won’t find anything cool , but you never know.o_O .10 cents for bottles and cans, might be living large tonight :D

Also along the trail about two miles in. It's a two track and someone has access to the gate key. I'm guessing they are collecting the trash for a future cleanup. The public road is on a cliff above.

It amazes me people throw their garbage out the window in this day and age, wait no it doesn’t, it saddens me . We found lots of car parts, light lenses, bumpers. Winter driving debris.o_O

The amount of trash o the side of ours roads is out of control. There are so many nip bottles, beer cans and fast food packages. It’s disgusting. In a couple hundred years people will be finding little plastic bottles with red caps and trying to decipher the label. What’s a Fire Ball?

yep. i come home after a lot of camping trips with more garbage that i picked up vs what i generated on my own.
i usually keep a couple full size house garbage bags in the truck for emergencies - like if i ever have to pull the spare i can lay the bag out and not get all muddy. one time i was out just for an afternoon drive and taking some pictures so i was stopping alot. i started picking up the stray bottles/cans i was finding and by the end of the afternoon i had a bag full. the area does get a lot of traffic - not far from town - and i know its a popular spot for HS kids to go on the weekends to drink so they were probably the largest contributor to the trash.
