When I was like 10, I was camping with my grandparents. While on a hike we encountered a man who asked some strange questions, was dressed in matching drab clothes and seemed very nervous. After we returned to our site, the campground manager told us why there were helicopters buzzing the woods - someone had escaped from the nearby prison. My grandpa spent the next hour in his camper's bathroom after hearing that.

Found this Tonka Crane Truck in the woods this past weekend. The roof is crushed so I'm assuming it had an accident on the job site years ago and was abandoned haha.

They were awesome. I think mine is underneath my parents house in the crawl space. I really need to check and see. It'd be neat to restore it...if thats possible. :)

nice. I had one of the backhoe's and a dump truck but they are long gone.

My son has one of the dump trucks now somewhere in the back yard

Now there's an industrial business park right on top of where this tractor was decomposing near Dulles Town Center.

I found a few things that I'm sure people just dropped without knowing...range finder, binoculars, swiss army knife...

The strangest thing I have ever found was on a hike last summer, I spotted something in the grass alongside the hiking trail. People are slobs and I usually find and pick up garbage when I'm hiking so I investigated....turned out to be a purple lacy thong. No idea how or why it was discarded along a hiking trail in the middle of nowhere. And I left it there too.
