    Found this today while in a hike in French Creek State park:

    I could hear something running in the shed sounded like an electrical transformer. :notsure:

    Right across the small clearing was this siren tower.

    Not quite sure why it’s there. There’s not a whole lot of folks in that area to hear it.
    Have no clue what it’s to alert for.

    @planters15 this wouldn’t be for the Nuclear Plant would it?

    If there’s a plant close by, sure could be.

    There’s a whole network of similar sirens circling the Seabrook NH nuke plant. Don’t know the layout but some are a significant distance from where ground zero would be.
