Weird engine noise after oil change!

    Yeah i cant heard it outside the vehicle, just when Im inside.

    Pretty sure the 1st gen v6's never really tick. They have hydraulic lifters to maintain zero lash. 2nd gen v6's have solid lifters and because of it sometimes tick due to excessive lash.

    Maybe take it to a dealership, what you're describing sounds extremely odd. Check the oil level, the oil drain plug, and the oil filter. If the noise is a very light ticking it is normal for our motors to do it and you should get exhaust to mask the sound. If it is louder then a slight tick then have Midas or a dealer check it out. Good luck.
