Alright well i have a 455 Olds in my jetboat and whenever i get it up near its highest rpms after punching it a little bit theres a little hissing sound that is coming somewhere from the engine and it only does it for a second and then goes away once i let it off. I was thinking mayb this could be the alternater belt? but its not loose or anything so i need some feedback yo

    What carb?? Q-Jet, Holley??
Q-Jet -- secondaries taking time to close down can cause the hissing sound.
