So I've gone through the ringer lately. Replaced the alternator on my 01 TRD in November. The day after Christmas on my way to duck hunt with my sister, I lost power as I was turning into the gate. Was able to limp home (after the hunt) on battery power with some help with my sister.

Had oreilys test the alt, they said it was good. Combed through the forums and checked connections ultimately replacing the 3 pin connector that plugs into the alt. Still wasn't getting power from alt to battery. Took the alt to autozone to have them test it, they said it was bad. Took print to oreilys, showed them, had them test it again, now they said it was bad :smack:

The replaced alt under warranty, slapped it in, connected 3 pin and my DRL's plus the oil pressure light on the dash come on. (What the hell)

I've double checked my wiring on the 3 pin to the alt. Yall have any idea what's going on with this thing?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
A circuit grounding through the oil pressure light. As the switch is closed with no oil pressure.

    Double check the grounds .

I’d check the Battery/ Alternator Cables, and grounds as mentioned.

I had a voltage issue with my 1st gen Tundra, and water had gotten inside the the wires and corroded them from inside.

Not sure how that happens from under the hood o_O

False alarm guys, either I'm completely stupid (highly possible) or the diagram I pulled off of here was backwards. Swapped wires on the 3 pin in the back of the alt and everything works as it should. I need a drink
