Weird noise came back, can anyone help identify? Dealer was no help...

2016 White Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4

Nitro 4.88 Gearing, 3 inch lift, Method NV 305 18x9 -12 Wheels.

This humming/vibrating noise that sounds like metal vibrating really fast. I dont know where its coming from as it comes and goes and only happens when shifting to drive or reverse so I am unable to get out and find. Brought to dealer but they were no help.

I had a noise like that before. Left my flashlight in the engine bay and made its way to a pulley rubbing the flashlight case raw.

Automatic or manual transmission ?
If you hold the brakes and give it gas , does the sound go away or get worse
