does anyone every notice a clunking noise when it is cold outside coming from the driver side floor. sometimes you can feel it under your feet. one thought i had is that is might be the foam blocks under the carpet. any ideas or same problem let me know. took it to dealer one time for it but you know there answer "seemed ok to me" thank you.

Most likely is that paper thin heat shield. Just crawl underneath and check if it is loose

i think i did. i pulled back the carpet and put that soft foamy weather striping stuff underneath each of those foam pads under the carpet seemed to work. but i have not drove my truck in the winter in the last two winters. but pretty sure that was the problem

I have a 2011 access cab 2wd. I noticed a noise that sounds like the door isn't closed all the way; it happens (occasionally) when I turn a corner. I know it the door is closed since the doom lights will stay on if the door isn't closed all the way. I'm in S. California so it doesn't get too cold.
