weird noise front driver tire

    i noticed today that if i shake the steering wheel side to side quickly that there is a kind of popping sound from the front wheel. i dont know if this is a bad ball joint, tie rod, coilover or what. its a 2006 dbl cab 4x4. has anyone else had this prob

    Have an assistant move the wheel while you get close to the front suspension to listen. Use a stethoscope if necessary.
