Hey, I have a 2019 Tacoma 4 cylinder 2.7 about 100,000. Looked at tons of pages on here some looked similar but did not notice anything similar, very confused. The truck makes a weird noise on startup in cold weather, only for a second, but is getting progressively louder year after year.
Hopefully someone can help with a solution, or put me in a direction or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks
    Jamal

I'd say there's a possibility. Easy enough to test, just remove the belt. (old guys like me are brave and will hold the fan haha)

I think starter or cracked flex plate (if auto) personally.

I will have to wait to try anything as we are at -30C right now, and working outside more than a few mins can be painful. Either the temps will have to let up, or ill bring it into one of the hangars at work over the weekend and see what I can do. Thanks
