I notice this weird sound coming from under the glove box at times. I describe the sound like when you're mixing juice or something with a spoon on a plastic container when the spoon hits the walls of the container...

Is this normal? I"ve never heard of this sound on all vehicles I've had.

    Or is the fan loose?

Your HVAC fan is in that area. Do you have a video of the sound?

    doesn't matter anymore.

it should be a warranty item.

    update :

I tried to listen to the sound again, this is what I observed:
    1. The blower is not loose, and there is nothing loose that might cause vibration in the glove box.
    2. Sound only comes when the A/C is on
    3. The sound simultaneously comes when the A/C kicks in, it gradually disappears as A/C slows down.

take it to the dealer. that's all of the reason why you bought a new truck with a warranty instead of a 2005 tacoma that performs the same mobility function.

I went to the dealership.. and of course the tech can't hear it... he even said if I want to hear things, I will hear it even if it doesn't exist !!!

Here is a video I uploaded... the sound starts at 1-2 second mark, then stops at 7-8 seconds
