    I got a 2000 Tacoma single cab 4wd.
I just changed my U-joints a few months ago because they were clicking.Along with the clicking came a bad vibration while driving.I figured changing the u joint would fix,it didnt make the vibration go awy. It only does it at 40-45 mph.I took it in to have the tires balanced and rotated. They told me my left inner tie rod was bad and needed changing pretty soon.Would that cause it? I just cant figure out why its vibratin so bad. Can anyone help me figure this thing out??

especially if its a 2 piece driveshaft it could be off balance.

Possible. Sounds like a balancing problem. Take it to a driveshaft shop and have them check it out for you.

Give more detail on the vibe. Where do you feel it? Steering wheel? Or seats?

I can feel some of it through the steering wheel but also in the seats. Makes everthing in the truck rattle like crazy.

If it was steering wheel only, its likely an issue with the front wheels. Since you fell it in the seats, I'm inclined to think the issue is in the rear.

If you put it in neutral or depress the clutch (coasting), does the vibe go away?

That narrows it down a bit, from transmission back I would say. Since you've replaced all of the U-joints, that leaves the tranny or the rear diff. Any play in the pinion bearing? You did replace the u-joint in front of the pinion right?

Worth investigating. Better than the pinion bearing.
