I ate dog once when I was stationed at Ft. Bliss, we went across the border into Juarez and bought some tacos off a street vendor. Found out later that "un perro" meant dog...o_O

In the Philippines they bury eggs in the dirt and come back later, dig them out, and eat them. They freakin crunch when you eat them ok and that's just weird.

Used to go to a political fundraiser in West Tn called the Raccoon Supper. Raccoon and sweet potatoes,The meat was incredibly gritty, almost like it had sand in it or something.

Uni (raw urchin), pickled salmon, blue lingcod (the fillets are bright blue), geoduck sashimi (wasn't too hungry after watching them slice it, just look it up).

I'd have the salmon and cod any day, don't need to try the others ever again.

    Working on them
1000 Year Eggs, The Duck eggs are rather strong "flavored" however the Chicken eggs are a bit less strong in the flavor. the way they are made is they get buried in wet volcanic ash that has a naturally high salt content and the end results is a rather crunchy interesting flavor Yum!
