What's up guys! I surf quite a bit in the South Jersey area and was wondering if there were any fellow Taco kooksters who ever wanted to tag along? I have the 4x4 permit for Brigantine and would be happy to give anyone else a ride on. Hit me up!
    Let's shred some gnar.

Looks nice, better than SoCal at the moment!

I moved out from nyc and used to surf nj a lot, mostly Belmar area. Sooooo many good days there even compared to CA.

Yeah the kicker is that when it's flat here, it's FLAT. Like ya better find another hobby for the next month. Only been up to Belmar / Manasquan a few times on bigger swells and man does it pump!

Agree, that is for sure but we get some flat spells here too. We had about a week and a half of not at all rideable, then one day of super clean peaky 3-4, day after was 2-3 junk.

I try to get out as much as I can and don’t miss the 6/5/4 5mm lobster claws and 7mm boots!
For south OC my winter suit is a 3/2 e-bomb, maybe a cap style hood if the air is cold....no boots or gloves.
55° Is the coldest the water gets here

Yeah I can’t imagine having all that rubber on and paddling but it’s what you have to do to get the best time of the year there.

In the mornings here the air is in the low/mid 40s, I’m usually hitting it a bit later on.

It still gets chilly after about two hours even at 58°. A buddy was visiting from nyc and was complaining his hands were cold!
