Well new to TW, figured I would toss up a first post. Toyota has always been a vested brand for my family and I and it all began with my grandfathers original 1993 Toyota Pickup. It was originally his hunting rig until my younger brother bought it to keep it in the family as it only has 97,000 original miles. My younger brother currently stationed in Alaska has his 2000 Tacoma SR5 and I finally joined the family with my dream of having a 2011 Tacoma. Previously I had an older 1982 Hilux (Street Truck with a 2JZ Swap), but love the newer upgrade. Glad to be here, lots to learn and enjoy. Currently active duty stationed in at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX. Give em hell!

Welcome. My step son is stationed at ft.bliss. was there in July to visit..now I know what it's like walking on then sun. Thank you for your service. Hide your wallet, you'll spend tons of money around here.

 

This is exactly my daily ritual. I got coffee from Black Rifle Coffee Company for Christmas (chrck them out, Veteran Owned company) and live off 2-3 cups before noon.. haha..

Yes Ft.Bliss is different than other Posts I have been at. Love the surrounding area and the food though. Lol well I am a SSG and being in almost 10 years I advise all of my younger Soldiers to budget and be smart with their money. The new outlet malls and Freedom Crossing on post is a money pit for sure.
