1.75" to 3" confirmed hail, severe straight line winds, flooding and multiple radar indicated rotations. I watched it all from my front porch. All I had here was a few sprinkles. A few miles to the east is a different story. Wife works in a 'bunker' and had no idea about the storm. Be interesting to see if we have a car left. Brand new Camry with 2500 miles on the odometer. I guess the good news is the Tacoma was with me. Scratch free.

Regrettably, your wife’s car is a write off. First dibs on the seats

Oh I get it. It's not all about ME. Heck it punched holes in the roof at work. A $650,000 roof that's not even finished yet. I've got a small disaster at work waiting on me. The local hospital is flooded. I'm watching the local news now and is full of pics and videos of all sorts of damage. I'm just venting right now. Sitting here by myself waiting on a phone call when she gets off work.

Hopefully the pic posted. I have no clue how her car escaped without a scratch unless it was in the way it was parked. I saw video on the local news of the mall across the street from her employer and the hail storm was impressive to say the least. There is a concrete wall that she parks behind and it may of blocked the wind and hail. At any rate I am thankful there is no damage. I feel for those who were not as fortunate. My right hand man at work will probably end up with a totalled truck. Wasn't even two years old yet.

No offense to anyone, but I have never for the life of me been able to figure out how people can stand to live in places where shit like this goes on

That’s wild! I’ve heard of hail like that but luckily never seen anything bigger than a marble in BC Canada! Glad the taco is ok and hope the house and everything else is too!!

Well in Cali where you are, you have wildfires and earthquakes. There is no place free from natural disasters in the good ole US of A. God/mother nature/whatever you believe in and or don't believe in can strike at any time day or night.

My property is fine. Just had a few rain sprinkles. I can see 9 miles due east of me over the 'prairie'. I and the neighbor watched the storm pass within about 1 mile of us to the east. People east of me got the storm.

I guess the lady that parks next to her behind the wall escaped damage as well.

Just wait, climate change and the extremes associated with it are not exclusive to certain places, everyone will be impacted at some point even picture perfect San Diego.

The PNW is now getting the type of weather Northern California used to get. The last two Spring seasons have been mostly sunny weather with scattered rainy days.

On the other hand, we have been getting pretty bad wildfires later in the summer.
