I did not but that does not surprise me. When the oilfield was booming I am sure they sold like nothing either.

It's a retro thing, I used to be able to tell the year of Toyota trucks just by the graphics package.

That loses value, rusts, scratches and eventually needs replaced. And I thought $600 was stretching it. Then again I know my sales buddy told me he's seen guys also not even bat an eye at $1000 a month on decked out tundras, highlanders (they had a OR looking one with a rack, big tires, etc.), scary what this generation is gonna look like be in for come retirement.

it's nuts man, like no financial brain at all and this guy was early 20's and still living
at home so he didn't have a care in the world bill wise...... and the next year, the company closed down out of no where and 300 of us were told, again, out of no where - you have 15 min. to vacate the property!

Damn. Ya I think its really how you are raised, I remember 3 jobs in high school and college and struggling, different mindset I guess. Amazes me when I see some of these threads with people buying a new $40k Tacoma and immediately dropping $3-5k on mods they probably will never use or need. Maybe getting old, but a pink slip in hand seems more appealing to me these days than a built truck with payments.

Makes sense they would avoid preventing warranty issues, but with how much work that's been done already I would be hard pressed to believe that thing is still covered under bumper to bumper, IDK.

I consider King Long Travel Suspension and tires/wheels, performance upgrades. No difference.

After further review, previous statement still holds true.

I've seen spacer lifts on SR's here command almost the same price or close enough. By dealer standards this thing is a steal.

I mean I still hate it and think it's dumb, but fiberglass fenders, long travel, real suspension? Amongst it's peers, it's not priced badly or modded poorly. For the guy who just wants to buy a modded rig from the dealer, one could do much worse.

Amongst home built stuff, yeah it's terrible.

The worst sin of all is the Dealer crap in the wrap. A $65k Taco already makes all of it irrelevant though.

Dang. I have WAY more into my truck for much less. This thing doesn’t even have basic dual zone, heated seats, etc.
