I doubt it as that has always been the case, you can build certain configurations in places that you can't elsewhere.

Dealers only get allocations for so many TRD Pros. Once they sell them they sell them. They won’t get anymore.

If you really want a pro... you have to be going out and fighting for one.

    So... its your fault...

Now you know. So go shopping harder.

Now subtract out anything not a 2019 (cause if I am getting a pro it is almost surely going to be Voodoo Blue). That brings it down to 9
Now subtract out those with the DAI (Snorkel) cause I am NOT getting one with that on it. That brings it down to 3 (1 for sure no Snorkel 2 maybe no snorkel)
I will check into those 3! 1 in NY, 1 in VA and 1 in CO

    Good luck!

I'm watching this all with interest.

If I was looking for VB MT, I'd be looking hard at the one in CO?

I did sign an order sheet, I have the order sheet with my signature on it, just like when I ordered my wife's Highlander. Which is sitting in the garage.

Ha yeah that Voodoo MT is here in Boulder. I saw it in the flesh last week while getting the 10k service on my Cav Pro. It’s a sweet looking ride but 53K is craaazy. I can promise you though, someone in this town will eventually buy it. Plenty of trust funders around here. Good luck!

I hear ya...the order sheet is “the meeting of the minds” but without consideration you have no contract with the dealer...that’s the way I see it. If you can get something out of them I would it’s in there best interest to keep you happy goodwill but their under no obligation.

Gulf States Toyota is lying to you. They DO NOT like to do special orders for anything. When I was trying to get a 4wd TRDOR DCLB, they tried everything to convince me that it was not possible to get that configuration and to settle for the short bed version. Finally after about 2 months of "trying to get an order accepted", they finally got it through and gave me a build date when I made it clear that I was looking outside of the GST footprint and was willing to fly to a dealership in Colorado to get what I wanted. Talk to the dealership and tell them they have two options: 1) refund the deposit and you will fly to Colorado to buy a truck or 2) work with the dealership in Colorado to get the truck you want brought to the dealership and you will buy it from them. I bet you they miraculously find a way to get your order "reinstated" and give you a date they will have it by.

And for those using the build tool as some kind of a way to divine Toyota's intentions about the MT, stop. The build tool isn't meant to show you what is possible...it is meant to match you to a vehicle in the existing inventory near you. The build tool takes your zip code and keys into a regional inventory of trucks available or allocated to dealers in that area. It will only show you option combinations available on those vehicles. As an example, GST will never stock a DCLB that is not special ordered. They only routinely stock DCSB configurations. So their inventory and allocations will never include trucks with a DCLB combination. So if you enter a zip code in GST territory and try to build one, it will tell you that DCLB can't be built. We all know that DCLBs are built by Toyota, and if you enter a zip code outside of GST territory, it will show you plenty of DCLB combinations.

If they cannot get him the vehicle, they have no obligation besides refunding him his money. I've seen countless times that someone didn't want to wait the 3 months to factory order, we tried everything in us to locate them the vehicle they wanted and we'd come up short and have to refund their money.

I know at my dealership that I used to work at, we wouldn't touch a buyers order unless there was a credit card, personal check or cash in either mine or one of my managers hands. But some dealerships are ok with just a shake of the hand. If they were able to get a MT Pro, they'd be able to sell it either way although it would be nice to have a sale lined up prior to its arrival. Either way, you'd think they'd be hustling to try to get some money out of him with a new car.

Two things.....and they have already been said but I will reiterate anyway.

Don’t settle for something you don’t want, chances are high you’ll regret it.

Find another dealer instate or out.
Took me three dealers to find a good one.... they do exist

Just curious, what’s the big draw on the Pro for you? I totally get manual but I’m just curious what it is about the Pro specifically.

I have no dog in this hunt. Toyota states that options can change at any time. My thoughts are, What is so damn limited about a pro?
Build them if demand is there, This gorging on price BS is going to hurt them if not careful.
Dealers are allocated only so many, BS,
Only the suspension is upgraded over a TRD.
Pro gets badges, suspension, hood and
different wheels, exhaust. Act now with what we offer or else.
Maybe Toyota will wake up after the Ranger
lands in January and realize some of their
Taco fans are jumping ship. At that point they might start building the GD Manuals again.
    Smart Marketing, Dumb Ass.
