    Howdy Folks

I'm clownbear69 (CB for short). And someone from another forum suggested me to come here to learn about Tacomas as my potential Bug out Vehicle (BOV).

A little about myself. Big outdoors man and I guess you can say "gun nut". The one thing I haven't gotten into is trucks and working on them. And I hope this is the place to learn that. I have helped my uncle and grandfather working on dirt bike engines. From what it looks like, it looks like the Tacoma is truly the "easier" man project.

Now you may ask what kind of BOV, qualifications:

1.) easy (relatively easy) to work on such as transmission fluid changes or different mods (unlike my explorer I can work on it a whole lot without the dealer ship).

    2.) 4x4 capable

3.) able to hold 4 people full seating

4.) A 6' bed (4' to me is pointless with a full cab, mind as well get an SUV)

    5.) just fun to drive

So far it seems like the Tacoma is perfect but other questions will be asked in the correct forums. If some you guys read this and have a suggestion on year and engine by all means PM me.

    Thanks and awesome info
