Leave it as is it'll probably get hit again.
Get a check for your replacement value plus their shop labor then buy some A1, tater tots and enjoy.
Then when it does get hit in service or on the street again you'll be ahead of the game.

Have you ever gone to buy a used vehicle and said “hey man don’t lie, is that bumper original? How about that antenna?!”.

I had a similar incident. Repairs were costly. A new BSM will run 800 alone, and it does not take much to damage them. I would let them repair and make it right for you. The bigger question is the lack of support in the bumper for this truck is concerning. A steel bumper will be in my future, but if you have the BSMs your choices will be limited. Good luck.

How is the truck back to the way it was? It was just in an accident. So you’re saying if you had a choice between similar trucks and same price, but one was in an accident like this, and one was not in one, you’d choose the one that was previously in an accident?

Dude, they crash your brand new 40k truck, it's greedy to ask for a 5k service or oil change. My dealer is 40min away, major inconvenience for their incompetence. You ever had Cheesecake Factory mess an order up, you'll walk away with about $40 of extra food whether you want it or not.

I'm supposed to be satisfied with a miss matched bumper and an extra trip to the dealer?

That being said I made 7 trips to the dealer in order for them to fix the plastic cowl they couldn't figure out, and I asked for nothing, nor was I offered anything for the inconvenience.

CarFax has recently changed their commercials to avoid the "no accident" selection, but it is a very real concern for diminished value.

If the wreck is noted, like in carfax. You might be able to collect any loss in value due to the wreck as well.

All over a simple accident that could happen to anyone? It’s not like they’re incompetent. Shit happens sometimes. They’re making it right.
