I was about to say, maybe he meant that as a truck-fire reference....kind of a double whammy pun, nicely done

Driving back from my parents house this spring, saw a car veer hard off the road and hit a tree (too far for my dash cam to actually see it). So, of course the 10 or so cars ahead of us slow down to see if everything is ok...which it was not. As we went by, I could see underneath the crumpled hood some smoke coming from the engine bay. Some people stopped to try and help the victim out of the car. I immediately stopped and grabbed my little fire extinguisher I had in the back cubby that I had purchased for camping, thinking "I will never need this". Ran up and reached in the car and turned off the ignition as it was trying to feed fuel to the crippled engine. I emptied that fire extinguisher on the portion that was now starting to catch fire, using short and well placed bursts, as trained. The dude had at least one broken leg (and was stuck in the car due to his pain, and nobody wanted to be the one that pulled him out, as he's screaming in pain in Spanish!). When the police got there, which was a good 2-3 minutes, they pulled him from the car because it was still kinda smoking, and while it didn't catch back on fire again, they weren't taking any chances. I bought a new FE the next day, but now with the HOPE that I never have to use this one.

    Better to be injured...
