    That's interesting too because most insurance companies EXPLICITLY state that off road use (accidents that happen on unmarked roads, non public use roads) aren't covered.

    OP clearly no one here knows why your truck caught fire. Weather you torched it or not shouldn’t be the topic here. It is a strange situation but anything is possible. I’m sure there will be some sort of investigation and I hope you update everyone with their findings. And get whatever replacement vehicle you want man. Who cares?
    I will say though nothing makes me sadder than a burnt taco.
