No I'm to old to go to prison. I would hurt someone though if they tried putting the fire out if my truck caught fire. LOL!

I got a few pictures and a few videos, my friends got a whole bunch of videos and pics themselves. I was just too busy trying to process everything and handle the shit storm that comes with your car catch on fire. Besides I’m not really sure how to post a video on here

Likely OP's electrical mods, non fused and not properly secured stuff will cause this.

They were actually all fused (multiple), had a breaker, and properly grounded. Again, not ruling it out, just saying the possibility is slim

Whatever happened please do update us on what the insurance company says started the fire, I think we're all interested to find out.

Improperly routed / not secured wire against a hot exhaust manifold....

Most car fires are electrical if they havnt been in an accident.

Ignorant to think that diy electrical work on a vehicle has a slim chance of causing a fire.

I saw a guy today with the mother of all mullets. It went past the middle of his back and he make it bounce as he walked. He had on a shirt that said, “I’m Single” I thought, No Shit! I will check the dash cam tomorrow and see if I can find it.

This isn't the early 1970's where stock fuel fitting/lines are even remotely likely to fail and cause a fire. The only way a stock fuel deliver system is going to leak and burst into flames is if you are involved in a gnarly car crash and things get mangled around. 0.00000000000000001% chance this is the fault of Toyota, especially when it comes down to something like a flipping fuel line. Who knows maybe a ferret made a nest in his engine bay and that shit caught on fire or something like that , way more likely.

No, this is the early 2019’s, where the HPFP leaks leaving puddles of gasoline on the ground.

Geezus. Sorry to hear about your truck.

I haven’t done any electrical mods to mine either. I better park mine outside. Away from the house.

Glad you're ok...sorry about the truck. Just a thought, squirrels can build a nest in the engine compartment in a matter of hours. Also, mice will chew/fray wires. I pulled 3 squirrel nests out of my wives car last summer/fall. Fortunately, on one occasion, we could smell the leaves burning and pulled over in time and removed the nest before it ignited. Good luck
