Also after 6+ weeks of back and fourth, went over the adjusters head to management, complained that this guy was, as far as I could tell, intentionally trying to make everything as absurdly difficult as possible. First number was $16.5. Management suggested that instead of going by comp (which progressive has this bat shit insane "like kind", short of the fucking color, it has to be IDENTICAL no wiggle room.) they go by what a dealer would estimate instead, so I agree to taking the truck to a dealer and have them appraise its value, rather what its value would have been.

Adjuster told me initially, the prices never move, let alone thousands. 16.5 was the number. I responded that I disagree, because I have literally moved thousands with progressive in the past before, so I know it can be done, and your comps are a joke.

Dealer landed $18.5. Which is reasonable enough for me. There's currently a 2011 identical truck with a few less miles that just showed up at the dealer, sticker is $21,999.
