wow, I wouldn't have thought that. Maybe they're just putting incentives out on the 08's.

You know who will be buying the BSP DC 4x4.

depends.....an 09 dc 4x4 would be great....but fj's are pretty pimp in their own respect...and would be awesome offroad as well...so i dunno. they're about the same price...except i'd go for a trail teams SE fj, so that'd be like 33k.....or the 31k for the 09 dc 4x4...before haggle of course

I was looking at the FJ when I bought my taco. I thought they were nice, except for one thing. They were not comfortable. Those things are built for off roading, I did not feel that they were very good daily drivers like the tacos. I almost pulled the trigger on one, but I knew the lack of comfort would eventually get to me and I'd be annoyed with the FJ. For me the 4x4 taco was a good tradeoff of offroad capability and comfort.

I really like the FJC, BUT:

It is not the off roading rig that Toyota has marketed it as. In all reality it isn't much better than a Taco. Its only real benefits are its shorter wheel base (I think) and ATRAC. Since ATRAC is now coming in the Taco, its pretty much a toss up. If you want an FJ, go for it, they are aresome, but they are no better off road than the Taco.

There is an all Black FJ I see on my way to work sometimes and it looks focking sweet man. The guy used to try and keep up with me when I had my BSP X-Runner.

definitely gonna stay with toyota man. i like the reliability and badassness of the tacomas too much not too..........i'll just have a 4x4 tacoma now instead of my prerunner, and it'll be first gen, so i wont worry about scratches and door dings AS MUCH;)

Once you get sliders, you have door ding immunity.
