    Example is this 0% financing on avalon ;
0% Annual Percentage Rates (APR) for 36 months, 0% APR for 48 months, 0% APR for 60 months available to eligible customers who finance a new, unused, or unlicensed 2015 Avalon from Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. (TMS) and Toyota Financial Services (TFS). Offer valid 12-01-2015 through 01-04-2016. Specific vehicles are subject to availability. You must take retail delivery from dealer stock. Special APR may not be combined with any other Customer Cash Rebates, Bonus Cash Rebates, or Lease Offers. Finance programs available on credit approval. Not all buyers will qualify for financing from Toyota Financial Services through participating dealers. Monthly payment for every $1,000 financed is 0% - 36 months = $27.78; 0% - 48 months = $20.83; 0% - 60 months = $16.67.

I read contracts for a living

    I bought 3 cars with 0% interest
All were what I financed for

    I never paid 2000-3000$ interest in a 0% loan in 5 years

The example you showed above is telling you per month financed per 1000$ what your PaYMent will be

    Interest rate is still 0%

There are no added charges as you are insinuating

OK, you don't pay interest, you pay a fee for every $1000 borrowed, just like the last line of the statement I copied from Toyota. People don't make free loans, you have to be stupid to think they are giving you free money on something that loses its' value as soon as you drive off the lot.

They're taking 10k off MSRP on brand new 2015 F-150s and giving it a lifetime/unlimited miles warranty in Tennessee. Or at least that's what they say on the commercials. But it's just blowing my mind why you would buy a taco when you can buy a full size cheaper and more fuel efficient.

Do you think 0% interest means 0$ a month?!

The above example is telling you owe $1000 financed what your monthly payment will be

Your cost of borrowing (interest %) is still 0

If companies made a habit of giving out $30,000 loans on $30,000 vehicles and making charging absolutely NO money for the loan, how would they stay in business?

I've bought several vehicles from Freeman Toyota. Aways been treated great by them. My last 3 I paid $300 over dealer cost.

Second dealer stickers are normal here in the Seattle area. Even with the Ford and GM dealerships that are all over the place. Such is life when you have a free market. They used to piss me off, but then I realized they're there because there are plenty of idiots that believe it and negotiate from that price. I'm willing to bet 10-20% of buyers pay it and another 20% negotiate harder and think they got a great deal when it is actually not that good. Once I looked at it as a challenge, it became fun and not an insult.

The dealerships around here get their pound of flesh on trade-ins. They'll drop the price under MSPR but then offer you 60% of fair market trade. That's how they get around the Costco pricing. There are so few dealerships in the area, they're helped by a lack of supply. I'll be shopping the entire NW area when it comes time to get my Taco.

Your argument would make sense if the bank wasn't a "CAPTIVE FINANCE COMPANY" owned by Toyota. "Toyota motor sales" pays "Toyota financial services" a flat rate for $ borrowed to buy down the rate to 0%. This is also a great incentive for TFS, their products (VSC's GAP, Tire/Wheel) sell better when they are financed and especially at 0%. Learn something new every day huh?

If you knew how to math, you'd realize you just proved yourself wrong. 1000/36 = $27.78 and 1000/48 = $20.83 and 1000/60 = 16.67 all exactly. Where's the magical "fee" you speak of?

Why give the whole 33k to someone so they can make money on your money, when they are offering to allow you to keep the money and invest it? Any dimwit can make at LEAST 4-5% in the market right now. Obviously it depends on the rates, with MSDs the money factor equates to around 2%. Hard not to beat that.

I just like to get peoples' panties in a bunch, don't really care if I'm right when it comes to these BS threads. It's fun to argue and piss people off.

I get that, but it's idiotic to spread false information. Other people google, get the wrong info, and get their panties in a bunch at the dealership because of that. It's more fun to argue when you are actually right
