But no one will argue when it's the truth. I feel for anyone that would google and find this thread. They should probably disregard it after reading the thread starter, it's kinda fishy

We're talking about the general public, people have microwaved their phones because someone on the internet told them it would charge the battery.

So, are you, or...are you not admitting you didn't understand the 0% financing details you quoted?
Or, is the trolling explanation a cover for the public ignorance?

Btw, making an error is human. A forum like this is full of teachable information. Not many here would rub another's nose in an honest mistake. But, to pull out the billy-bad-ass card to cover a mistake in an effort to save an ego...will not go over well.

Just some sage advice from an old fardht.

Do the math on the OP. I used similar math to that. 36000 for the truck, -23000 trade-in, -2000 down, So financing $11000 for 36 months =$700/month. That's some serious interest

The OP said "Anyways they come back with a $700 dollar a month payment for a 36 month lease with 2K down."

#1) This is for a lease, not a 0% finance. Nobody here said he was getting 0% finance on this deal. He isn't looking at a Camry.

#2) The trade isn't in the deal at those numbers (payoff, possibly)

#3) Do you even lift, bro?

OK, so why would the OP lease it when according to those numbers posted, they could buy it for half the lease payment(if they really meant lease and not financed)?

Your logic on this is just off. I think you are arbitrarily assuming he owns his trade outright. Also, why are you speaking hypothetically in regards to whether or not this was a lease payment. The OP says it was a lease payment. If he owes 25k on his trade, that changes things, no?

Well, then he should've stated that he owed on the trade. Giving incomplete information leaves a lot for the imagination. Hell, maybe he's getting a great deal if he owed, like $30,000 on his trade

I hate financing contracts and all the crap they put in fine print. Few qualify for 0% anyway. Personally, I'd rather scrape by, work my ass off, and save money for 4-5 years and just buy it, rather than finance. If you can't afford to pay for it, you probably don't need it

He also didn't say how many miles per year on the lease, if that's 250,000 miles a year it's also a good deal. Or if his credit is 400, probably a great deal. So on and so forth. I guess he didn't read the rules about providing all information in every scenario.

?? Anyone with a heartbeat and a 670 FICO qualifies for the 0% (assuming TFS is offering it on the selected vehicle). There's no fine print to worry about. And when someone offers to give you free money to buy a car, WHY would you refuse it? It's 0%. Invest your money and make 4-6% per year while paying it back in small chunks. I agree with the guy above, zero understanding of math or financing.

    If 2x2 and 2+2 are both 4, then why doesn't 1x1 and 1+1 both =2?

Ok so the 0% finance costs 1/4 of a cent per month. And this thread has cost lots more brain cells.
