This is the factory size on my Frontier Pro-4x. I put a set of these same KO2s on it back in fall and regret it. They look awesome and the traction is okay but for me they are not worth the ride quality, acceleration, braking and fuel economy penalty. 54lbs is up there with most 255/85R16 and 285/75R16 tires. Also only 15/32" of tread where most LT tires this size have 18/32".

Think I'll be going to a General Grabber X3 in load range C, they weigh 48lbs each and have 18/32" tread.

I do not feel the slight ' Roll ' or ' Dive ' like I had with the Good Years when cornering and what non full size truck owners would consider a bit more ' Stiff ' ride, and I'm cool with that as it has more of a boulevard ride to me even with a shorter wheelbase compared to the F-250 it replaced AND yes I completely understand you can not compare apples to oranges.

The switch backs of Mountain roads will be the true test if that I've achieved my goal for De Taco, and I'm confident it will as I've not yet missed on a set up of any truck I've owned in the last forty years :D

While I really like the more comfortable ride on higher sitting vehicles like SUV/Truck, the Off Road squishing on corners made me opt for Sport. The stock TOYOs though... hoping the Michelin’s I ordered arrive today. Going to go step by step and see what I like. First, 265/70/17 better tires. If that’s not enough I’ll try getting new wheels and tires set for next set of tires, like 265/75/16. Or maybe that’s all an excuse to justify getting TRD Pro wheels later... haha owning a white truck, those black wheels look so good!

A free way to compare is to DL a GPS speedometer app, or just get on the highway and compare your tripometer to the Mile markers, they should have a sign for each 10th. I did notice my MPGs go down, but that is a more aggressive tire tread and a 3"/2" lift

also if you pass a radar sign or cart that tells you your speed, as stated above its a percentage, not a set number over the indicated speed

Yeah couldn’t resist that offer. He’s not even charging for Mount and balance. So it came $100 cheaper than Discount Tire plus $400 credit. Good deal.
