I said the same thing in 2012. I hate to leave good tread on tires ( factory Dunflop's). One night i came off an exit ramp in the rain and almost got really out of shape! The next morning i ordered Dynapro's. When these are done they will be replaced with the same.

So when people say they have dynapros , do they mean the dynapro MT or the dynapro ATm

@OZ-T what were your reasons for switching? What don't you like about the ATm's?

I have the ATs on my truck. I like them a lot. Good for mild offroading I do and equally good on my long commutes. I also have a set of KO2s in my garage to install after these wear out. If I didn't have another set already, I would have no problem buying the Dynapros again. Nice tire, for sure.

I was hoping the ATms would be better in snow but actually my MTs were better in the wet snow we usually get here on the coast

Not sure why the hate for the dunlops, I put 61k on my stockers. There an on road tire and there cheap. With 2k on my ATm they still look new and work great. Snow will tell the real tale soon tho.

Have been running Hankook ATMs for a while now. If they ever wear out I will replace with the same. They are excellent in the snow and the light off roading that I do.

I have been looking at the atm's for a while, but my brother just put a set of Michelin ltx m/s2's on his 2010 Tacoma, they are excellent tires and he got a great deal on them. My sister put the same tire on her trailblazer soon after and it drives like a completely different car now. I'll probably try a set of michelins next. I regrettably let the dealership put on a set of stock Bridgestones on when they did the leaf spring recall. They have just under 17k on them and are getting close to the wear indicators. The Bridgestones that I have are supposed to be a 60k tire. I never get more than 30k out of a set of stock tires. Lol

Just a heads up to anyone on the fence about these, after a month of driving on them, they get an A+ rating from me.

Also, they absolutely saved my ass Tuesday during the heavy rains we got here in GA. Cruising about 50MPH down the highway, I hit a puddle of standing water I didn't see. I felt the truck get loose and the steering wheel went limp for about half a second, but the Dynapro's tracked perfectly straight through the hydroplane.

All I can say is I'm glad I wasn't still on the Rugged Trails, I would have been in trouble.

Out with the old, in with the new, they need to be cleaned up but they are finally on my truck.

Cleaned up pics, while I have only driven around town so far I must say I am a fan. Plus I notice a difference in ride comfort between these and my old tires (these are 16s old ones were 17s)

I've put maybe 15,000 miles on my Dynapros and am happy with them. They show almost no wear. I don't run them in the winter, though. I have dedicated snows on their own wheels for that.

I love the look on my truck and I agree it looks good on all colors, some better than other though.
