You forgot to add that 25% of that greatly reduced amount is now just air whipped into the ice cream... so on top of losing 50% of the original container size, what's left is less dense than it used to be. They get you coming and going!

Oh yeah, f*ck emo kids... this could become a new thread in its own right.

Now let's get started on cable... just 5 years ago I was paying $74 a month for digital cable (when it was still relatively new in my area) and high-speed internet. Last time I checked it's now $127 for the same damn service. A 72% price hike in 5 years and nothing's changed????? WTF????

Great thread! Remember when you could call customer service and actually speak to somebody in the good ol' USA?

Now days ya get some towelheaded swami named Kevin,or Frank, or any other English sounding name with an accent so heavy ya can't understand half of what they say

What about vehicles? Remember when they were actually made of metal? Now days it's recycled Budweiser cans, the skin is so thin, if ya lean on a fender, there is a chance ya will dent it.

    Yeah....amen to that!!

At work, we have about 3 computers on our machines. One computer is the line controller. One computer tracks our performance. The other is for misc stuff, hoist/product tracking, e-mail, etc.

When the line controller & performance computers act up usually due to improper communications with machines or the network itself.... there's always a list of things to try and/or reboot to try and fix the problem. If that doesn't work - we have to call a 1-800 number and talk to someone god knows where. It's a major hassle. First off, trying to explain the situation to someone who otherwise has no frigin idea the details of the system, machinery, or the computer I'm referring to. All they're doing is jotting down notes in their computer, taking names, department number, machine number, bla bla bla...

And then what? They forward all that bullshit to the TECH department in the very same building that I'm working in. Now, why the *&#$!! can't I call them directly!!??????

It's funny....but these people try to help you diagnose the problem. Did you do this? YES....Did you do that? Yes.... did you reboot? Yes....

Look dude....I know WTF I'm doing or else I wouldn't be calling you!!!!

    :annoyed:

When I started smoking, a pack of Marlboro Reds was roughly $3 if I remember correctly, nowadays it's closer to $6 or $7.

    Edit:

However, this huge price jack, on top of my girlfriends displeasure with my smoking (a pack a day when we started dating), helped me quit. Cold turkey. also quit dipping cold turkey at the same time. I'm a beast.

This.. and even the Levis.. are products of the "Green Movement"... lets make everything from recycled products.. ok, you save the world... not. You generate more waste because now we have to remake the same damn product 50 times over because it wears/tears/breaks so quickly.

    Deforestation arise!

Anyway.. yeah... things have gotten cheaper (make-wise), pricier and smaller all around. Except Toyota trucks.... they just got bigger and pricier. :D
