I agree with the Fountain Hills area! That place is beautiful and its kinda like it own little community. Like Taylor said, the lakes and trails are easily accessible from there

Thanks! Yeah, we did the same drive and I completely agree, especially through Monument Valley. Kind of a bitch driving West into the sunset though.

Haha, yeah indeed. Thankfully she's only engaged to me. Thanks man!

She mentioned something about moving to some town down south named "Chihuahua." Something about finding herself a "real man" or some such nonsense.

I'd pay more attention when she talked if she'd start making more sense.

It's a possibility :) I'm always up for an adventure and moving out of Jersey, at least for a little while, is something I've been considering for several years now.

I guess it really depends on whether or not he wants to do this solo or not :)

if you like being outdoors then Northern AZ is good. cuz you have snowboarding, mountain biking, ect. But if you want desert then Tucson/Phoenix is better, you can still do most outdoor stuff but that season is a lot shorter:eek:

South is also better because you'll have a lot more options with resources. i.e. if you need an off road shop or some specialized store. it's a lot harder to find those in the small cities.

I live in flagstaff. We are right next to snowboal, so you got snowboarding 6 months of the year. We are only 2 hours away from lake powell so there is your summer fun. Its not too big of a city, Only about 65,000 or so. There is a nice college campus. Only downside is it is freaking expensive.

The area around and just south of Phoenix is sounding pretty appealing. Heat I don't mind, and as someone already mentioned, it'd be easier to find shops to work on my truck when I inevitably break it.

That's my thinking at the moment. Of course, this whole move thing is way off so I'll probably change my mind 100 more times. At least I have some sort of directionless direction at this point. :)

Are you talking Casa Grande/Maricop area? if so that's kind of in the middle of no where as it relates to available wheeling places.

Have you looked into the Fountain hills area? it's right next to the majority of quality wheeling locations in the valley without driving hours away.
