Wait he said the third Gen revs high like the mini van that it is (true) and weight and lift and big tires effect mileage (true) but got the wrong engine for the million mile tundra (false). What did you hate specifically about the article?

Not saying the guy is a genius he sounds condescending and annoying ha. But the third Gen engine and tranny does suck AND the Tacoma doesn’t have much of a payload or good gas mileage with big tires. Those are true ha.

He used that stupid TFL video as an example of saying they needed momentum to climb a hill but in reality it was because they didn't use A-TRAC.

Except the million miles Tundras x2. They were both early models with the 4.7L UZ engine from the first Gen, later replaced by the 4.6L UR, neither of which are the 5.7 that he goes on to praise immediately after alluding to the 5.7 reaching a million miles more than once ha.

Strong disagree. I have all the stuff he bitches about putting on your truck. Get 18 mpgs, no trouble passing, and I find the truck quite enjoyable to drive.

Care to make a logical defense of your position rather than just repeat it?

I don’t disagree. I’ve never heard of him until today. I just haven’t seen you make a logical case for your repeated statement ha.

My last Tacomas on 35’s got 12, and 15 mpg, with zero extra power.

He drives one Tacoma and writes an article disparaging things he doesn’t know about. Plus he’s a Ranger fanboy.

I'm only on 285s (33") so maybe that's the point of no return for decent performance? Or maybe I'm just lucky. Wait a minute I'm never lucky.

A couple years ago, his manifesto was that the Subaru Outback was the ultimate offroad vehicle with just some heavier ATs on it. Said that he'd never get anything else, or something like that.

    Just utter clickbait spew.

You’ll note above that I criticized his misleading content about Tundra engines. That’s a logical statement that can be verified or disproven with factual evidence.

“He’s a big dummy poo poo head and I don’t like him and I want to go out of my way to make sure to get affirmation that other people on the internet don’t like him either” not so much haha.

I care less to affirm if you think he is a poo-poo head or not and I care even less what you think.
