Sooo.. Like.. uh.. i r n00b.. doo i need to take off the stock skid plate to put my bull bar on? i have to take off tow hooks, i know that much, and i will when i get the tools.. Apparently investing too much time into computers, dampers my ability to perform in the automobile realm... nerf bars came in too, but they came in black instead of chrome..

X2... Im also curious. Im looking at buying a used Westin bull bar for my '09 Off Road and was wondering if the two hooks on the skid plate would have to be removed in order to get the bar on????

I left my hooks on. Bull bar fit perfect around it.

Hey Guys, I just purchased an inexpensive TrailFX Bull Bar for my 2009 TRD-
OFF-Road. I am still a little worried if I have to take off my Skid plate or not. Don't really Know. anybody installed on of these Bars? I am sure they are all alot alike, Just not sure what i should expect when it comes in.

Push bar is on and I didn't remove anything. You'll be fine.

I used to have a westin bull bar, and i did not have to take anything off. the hooks can stay on, but are not easy to access if you need them. All skid plates can stay on.
