Did you get an ARTICLE Timer sofa in Charme Tan & Honey Oak? If so, I can see why that West Elm got demoted to the garage.

 

BAHAHHA!! So creeper with the exact deets, but sooo true!! LOLz

 

We were going to buy that same one but got the worthington oxford one instead! It's a beautiful sofa and fulfills that mid century look. I spotted that Timber sofa right away.

The west elm you have for sale it beautiful as well. More child, pet friendly with the fabric. $450 is a great price as they're around $1200 new. Good luck with the sale kind sir.

West elm makes great furniture and the only ones to avoid from them are the Peggy style with the buttons. The buttons are notorious in detaching itself from it's rightful place.

Someone will get a lovely West Elm couch at a bargain Ikea price.

 

Since I've been well versed in furniture due to a recent revamp. I'll help out on this gorgeous sofa. If no one bites here, place it on facebook marketplace, offer-up, letgo, or craigslist and you'll get a better bite.

This color is the Chenille tweed slate. It's 81" and cost $1500 brand new.

^ You don't want to see it. It's a mixture of west elm & article. We spent a lot on that mid-century look! We have a few vintage danish pieces as well. I never liked the mid-century look but my wife converted me.

Article sofa, chairs, rug & bookcase. West elm side tables & coffee tables. Vintage 70's magnovox stereo used as a media console. Vintage danish walk in console/entry table. Modern artwork with modern mid century frames. Ralph Lauren mcm lamps and a Article floor lamp..........sigh.

I'm a Portland guy who likes the reclaimed/industrial look.

 

Looking at the ARTICLE site.....really like the ottomans too.

The ART is more on a personal level. MCM frames with modern rare band artwork/posters.

The ceni ottoman is beautiful but it's quite large and just too much in size.

 

Honestly, We would love it if we didn't just drop 2k on this new Article one. I much rather fabric than leather as well in saving $1500+. However my wife doesn't ask for anything but a comfy home. So her mods are the house. Mine are my Tacomas. . . LOL.

^ It's huge in size and work for those looking for it. However I'm a minimalist and prefer things to be sleek and not bulky. So my taste may differ from yours. The living room we have is also smaller and that factors in as well.

I do like the shape and design of it though.
