I just wanna know who has the 2nd Gen black DC with a front hybrid or tube bumper, rolling on at least 33s, with a cap. Seen a few times since I was member here, nice truck!

It's about the only one in this area that actually looks like he might drive down a gravel road at minimum, isn't a 20+ year old Yota and rusted out.

Ok, i know this is a long shot, but ill be in pikeville tomorrow morning until about noon, anyone interested in my bakflip? I can bring it with me, but if noone shows interest im leaving it at home. Tomorrow if my wifes birthday, and shes wanting pig in the poke in pikeville, and were going to shop a little while were there. But i cant go any further than pikeville, tomorrow is her day and im not going to goober it up traveling somewhere were not going to be.

Alright guys I need some help. I'm going to be in Morgantown today about 1 or so and me and the family are looking for stuff to do. Wife 3 kids ages 13, 10, 5. We have reservations at snowshoe for tomorrow but we are looking for some fun or Independence Day stuff for today. Haven't made any plans where to stay but I'm open for anything from Motown to Pocahontas county. I'm from Mingo and the only time I go up to Morgantown is for a ballgame. Any suggestions?

 

If it is open, take a ride on the PRT system. (Bring lots of quarters).

If you like the outdoors, drive out to Cooper's Rock; about 10 miles east of Mo-town in Interstate 68.

 

Get sum fried chicken and macncheese from The Dirty Bird

 

Walk down on the rail trail (you park near the Jeep dealer by the Waterfront). If you up up river toward the coliseum, there are some stores along the way you can stop in, grab a bite.. or a beer. Lots of friendly dog walkers, so the kids will be occupied too.

High street is hit and miss. I’m disappointed with all tbe bars that are still there and taking over what used to be a restaurant. Some neat little shops stil to run into, just don’t anticipate it to be wild. Iron Horse down at the end of the street is a good place to eat, and so is Black Bear (town fav).

You could swing out on 68 to Coopers Rock and take a walk around too. Probably beautiful right now, but I hear it’s been hot as hell lately from my lady (she lives in Preston Co.).

I’ve lived away for 8 years so I’m kind of empty on suggestions for kids (not toddlers, they don’t talk). That said, I love and miss Morgantown and can’t wait to move back home soon. Enjoy your visit, and let’s go mountaineers

 

Thanks for the info guys. We ended up hanging around Morgantown for awhile then stayed in Bridgeport and explored that place for a bit and had a great dinner at Oliverios. Too hot to stay outside very long with small kids. Next day spent some time in Fairmont and ate at the Poky Dot. Awesome atmosphere. Been at snowshoe for 2 days and the weather sucks but we have an awesome cabin.

 

Yeah I go in next week and we’ll end up down in Snowshoe or Thomas around the 21st. Hope it’s not too bad down there - never been. I’m from the northern panhandle.. we always stayed local and our trips were to Morgantown or Pittsburgh
