I have amber BajaDesigns fog lights on my truck. They’re pretty bright and I don’t run them at night unless there aren’t any cars around.

Are those fog lights mainly spot or flood? I’m really hoping to find something that I can still run at night like a normal fog light but just have a brighter more amber color.

I'll be headed up near Ya'lls neck of the woods end of March and just wanted to see if there were any interest in these
For sale 17x8.5 +25 offset method standards have rock rash not bent. Will need min. of .5" spacer to fit with 285s, skinnies may not need spacers. One is missing one of the fake bolts can get new ones from Method. You can also make some rash rings out of plastic, which I will be doing for the new wheels.
These wheels would be good for some wheelers so you don't mess up your nice ones. I beat the snot out of these and am surprised there are no bends or damage beyond just aesthetics. Some of the rash is some decent gouges and not just scuffs on the paint.

If no one saw, TRDShop.com is running free standard shipping up to $100 right now with FLASH19. I ordered the front rail and a 27F battery tray from them since third gens come without the rail and a 24F tray.

I'm planning a camping trip up too WV next week. I'm looking at dispersed camping, middle of nowhere preferred, suggestions for locations, hiking, scenic drives, things to check out etc. Much appreciated!

Lol it’s 5* Fahrenheit at the moment here in the highlands. Gonna warm up a lil but will prolly dip below freezing several times next week so be ready for that :)

In my area (northern part of monongahela national forest) the only “backcountry” road that is closed right now from the snow is the Dolly Sods access so if you want to explore that area you’re gonna have to earn it cardiovascularly lol.

I would recommend the Gandy Creek dispersed camping area, it’s a jump off point for lots of good trails that all tie into the Allegheny trail. There will be a lot of road traffic next to your campsite during the day because they’re stocking trout but I doubt you’ll see a vehicle after dark.

Canaan loop road is another great option for a vehicle accessible remote camping area, also with lots of good trails. It’ll be a lot colder up there but fewer people and within reasonable driving range to some really good restaurants and an awesome brewery (Stumptown Ales) in Davis. The road itself is great out to table rock (a cool overlook) but I wouldn’t attempt to drive all the way around it unless you don’t care if scratchy brush destroys your paint lol. Also check out the Olson knob fire tower while you’re there. There are campgrounds with (I assume lol) showers at Canaan and blackwater state parks

The drive from glady to Durbin is great too and you can take the spur roads up to middle mountain road and then the driving possibilities are diverse

Lots of country down south of me too in southern Randolph and Pocahontas counties but I’m not as familiar with them. The road that runs across cheat mountain is beautiful

Let me know if u need any more info/details

Active shooter today on campus.. fugitive from US Marshalls (Wesley Snipes, anyone). He fired at them and then was ‘found deceased.’

They kept class in session as this shit was taking place on campus (they called it off campus because of the streets, but College Ave and Falling Run legitimately run directly into the heart of downtown campus).

Interesting day. Too cold for this shit.

    Craziness

Kinda coincidental that it happened right after the campus carry bill died but that’s neither here nor there

And yes it is too cold for this shit

I laughed about that too, and waited for some yeehaw that misses a deer standing still with a scoped rifle to tell me how they’d have shot an armed fugitive in motion during an adrenaline rush

(I’ve had weapons training in the Navy and I’m from WV.. and wouldn’t dare carry a damn gun in public thinking I could stop anything like that.. safely)

    You in Morgantown?

Awesome thanks for the info. It won't be our first snow trip, we used to camp winters in the Sierras. After a day or two of being freezing you kinda get used to it...

Just got back home. We had an awesome time! WV is absolutely beautiful, I can only imagine the fall! We camped off the Caanon loop, it was wet but the hiking was great and the"road" toward black water falls was fun. Meet a fellow member toward the end.
