    LOVE THAT.

27-29% in Maryland has been absolutely disgusting for years

I think you’re confusing your federal income tax rate with the state. Nobody is paying 27-29% state income taxes.

I get what you mean. Yes, I do understand federal is federal, as well as social security and medicare, etc. All that boring mess :anonymous:

I’m just excited to be able to put more into the house fund faster, and freely buy more :infantry:

Yeah our state income tax is obscene imo. Anyone over a $60k income gets nailed to the wall at 6.5%. Totally unreasonable and it’s about dang time they do something about it.

It’s not like we see quality services from the state anyhow other than constant road cones on 79 and 64, or highly decorated state Supreme Court offices.

Anyone here try Starlink for the RV yet? It’s available immediately and we don’t have internet here. I don’t care if it’s deprioritized .. it’s still >>>>>> HughesNet.

Ha yup we use it on our little slice of BFE. Got tired of being on the residential waitlist. Works really well, much better than the cell phone hotspot. A slow day is 25mbps but it’s regularly 50mbps-100’s. I’d do it again in a second.

Bring it down to ripley plz haha.

Most people I know in the northern panhandle sticks utilize whatever that LoS red dot cell/radio service is. Apparently works decent, but it’s not down here (or at least by Cedar Lakes..).

I didn’t really plan ahead and buried the cable from the dish into the house permanently. So we can’t use the portable function unless I order another cable haha. Very easy system to setup though, the dish mounts snuggly right in corrugated pipe from the home stores.

Where my parents moved, they’re 5 miles north of comcast and 5 miles south of breezline cable/fiber options. So they had to go with satellite internet. So far its better than i expected but it isnt great

This is in new RV mode for a residential dish since portability was removed. I left my other reservation in so I can transfer the hardware when I get an invite for residential service.

Can’t really complain about this. I’ve seen it go around 30-40mbps down during peak evening hours, but it still streams just fine. We’re going to get a bag of concrete and bury a pole and line this weekend, and set up the Ethernet bypass with an ASUS AX86U so we have an actual router with features and useable wifi range.

3A6C0B7D-CB40-4F3E-A57B-4BC83D668607.jpg I ate my instant mashed potatoes and tuna at my favorite campsite on Canaan loop. I like to camp as simple as possible in a world where everyone else needs the most expensive camp kitchen and gear. I suppose my way gives me more time to relax.
